John H. Stroger Hospital

The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism provides subspecialty and limited primary care for adult patients with a variety of endocrinology and metabolism problems including diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, thyroid cancer, pituitary, adrenal, parathyroid, and gonadal dysfunction. Primary care is assumed often in the diabetes clinics since diabetes is the patient's major medical problem.

The Division Staff is composed of the Chairman, Endocrine Attending Physicians, Fellows, Certified Diabetes Educators and Support Staff who are responsible for the activities of the division.
